Pre-account Lore

Hoshino Reika was a girl born to two modified humans in the midst of a long-extended global conflict. As early as she could remember, the skies had already gone grey, the air had grown difficult to breathe, and her parents had fallen in battle. On the day her only companion, a cat named Masshiro, had passed, she resolved to follow in her parents' footsteps; believing that the body's willingness to accept modification is genetic, she thought she would be powerful enough to end either the war or the world with her own hands.

Unfortunately for Reika, the goddesses refused to allow her to become a weapon, taking the human memories away and leaving her still living body behind. 'Operation Star Breaker' awoke without any memories, surrounded by a council of generals and engineers under the military's employ. This fresh mind was molded to believe her entire purpose was to fight in the war. Unfortunately for those would-be handlers, after countless deaths and further modifications, Star became too powerful to be trusted. They deemed the project a failure and slated her to be decommissioned. Not long after learning of this betrayal, she had burnt her entire traitorous country into nothing but ash, charcoal, and slag.

Despite her power, or perhaps because of their fear of her power, the world's remaining nations eventually found peace. She's still struggling to deal with the dread of believing the times she was needed are growing further behind her, and occasionally actively attempts to get wars rolling again. Still, she can see the world is better off without it, and the conflict between what she wants and what she can see is in the world's best interest is a cause of frequent unhappiness.

Appearance

Star breaker is a short young lady with brushed but unstyled light blue hair extending just past the hips. Her eyes, while containing shades from green to violet and everything in between, are primarily red. While she is normally rather pale, her frequent proximity to fire can also occasionally give her quite a tan.

Clothing

Star has a great fondness for the uniform she bore during her war. As such, she frequently wears that two-toned grey dress and a black body suit with red highlights beneath. However, she is no stranger to dressing up, so it is not rare to see her donning other outfits.

I, the writer behind Star Breaker, go by Blu. Any pronouns will be fine for me. I'm 25 years old, with over a decade of roleplaying experience. I like to believe I'm friendly, so don't be afraid to talk to me out of character! I use two vertical bars [||] to indicate when speaking personally.
